5 Days South Of Vietnam English  Study Tour

On arrival you are met by our guide then she/he takes you to the hotel to check in. It is much depending on your arrival time and if the time is permitted, you will take an orientation tour of Ho Chi Minh city (formerly called Saigon) and visit some highlight buildings such as: Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, City Hall and Opera House, or just relax at your hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Breakfast at the hotel. Our guide and driver will pick you up at your place, then we will go to High school in town for English practice. ***NOTE: Regarding to the Education System in Vietnam,
• From 12 to 15 years old: Junior High school
• From 16 – 18 years old: Senior High school We will select suitable schools for the tour program based on the age group of participants.

Later in the day, followed by a walking tour along Ben Thanh Market, Nguyen Hue Walking Street and central areas, then head to Bach Dang Wharf to embark on a Saigon River cruise, giving us a fresh and exciting view of Ho Chi Minh City. Have dinner then take it back to the hotel. Free on your own arrangement. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning, depart for Tay Ninh Province, explore the Cao Dai Holy See, a unique religious site blending various faiths. Witness the colorful midday ceremony. Then, transfer to Cu Chi tunnels – a maze of tunnels and underground passages that were built during the Vietnam War and originally had a length of 200 km. Hand-dug tunnels were the base for Vietcong soldiers. Visit the tunnel in 1.5 hours and learn about Vietnam history. Highlights: experience the Cu Chi guerrilla’s life during war times including visiting the secret entrances, taste fighter’s food and tea, firing guns at the shooting range (personal expenses). Back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Pick up at hotel. Drive to My Tho, one of the bustling towns in the Mekong Delta, located on the bank of the Mekong River with a lot of activities such as: enjoy fabulous riverside view and evergreen fruit orchards, seasonal fruit tasting, listen to folk songs, rowing boat cruise, candy workshops. Highlight activities: “Tát Mương Bắt Cá”, literally means ‘Draining ponds to catch fish’. Before participating in the activity, you will change your clothes into the ‘Ba Ba’ outfit – the traditional attire of Southern Vietnamese people. The water level in the fishing area is only 0.5m – 0.6m deep. To begin catching fish, we first need to use traditional tools like conical bamboo traps (nơm), scoop nets (vó), work alongside locals, learn their techniques, and enjoy the thrill of the catch. Draining ponds to catch fish is a highly communal activity; everyone will participate together to share the joy. At the same time, it helps strengthen the bond between people, creating solidarity and mutual support. Transfer back to the hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure.
