Arrive in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia, also known as the “Blue City,” serving as the political, economic, cultural, and commercial hub of the region. Our guide will meet you at the airport and arrange check-in at the hotel.

Travel by coach to one of Inner Mongolia’s oldest grasslands, Xilamuren Grassland (~1.5-hour drive). The grassland features blue skies, white clouds, scattered yurts, fragrant wildflowers, and herds of sheep, horses, and cattle.
Upon arrival, experience the highest Mongolian welcome tradition, the Dismounting Wine Ceremony, with locals offering authentic Mongolian liquor.
Optional Activity: Watch “Desert South Legend”, a large-scale outdoor performance (~1 hour) featuring Mongolian actors showcasing skilled horsemanship and recreating the battle scenes of 800 years ago, highlighting the unity of Mongolians and their horses.
Optional Experience: Enjoy the Zha Ma Banquet, a grand Mongolian palace feast from the Yuan Dynasty. Participants wear traditional Mongolian attire, enjoying song, dance, and a festive atmosphere reminiscent of the historic “Zhisun Banquet” held by Kublai Khan. This luxurious event includes traditional Mongolian cuisine and lasts three days with daily costume changes.

Travel to Xiangshawan (Resonant Sand Bay), located in the Kubuqi Desert in Dalad Banner, one of China’s three famous resonant sand mountains. Known as Yinken Resonant Sand, it’s a desert tourism and leisure destination, attracting visitors with its mysterious sand-singing phenomenon, blending desert culture with Mongolian heritage. Features include a desert cableway, camel herds, and a Mongolian art troupe.
Explore Xiansha Joy Island, a lively area with exciting activities like desert motorcycles, offering an exhilarating ride across the sand; desert adventure vehicles with powerful engines for a unique driving experience; and desert zip-lining, allowing you to soar above the dunes.
Visit Yuesha Island for artistic and athletic experiences, including rhythmic gymnastics, aerobics, street dance, and beach volleyball. Participate or watch performances, create sand art, or relax in the desert water world with large and small pools. Enjoy sand sculpting, painting, or lounging on beach beds while savoring food, drinks, and performances (over 10 daily shows or competitions).
Continue to Kangbashi, a modern city rising from the Ordos Plateau, meaning “Excellent Teacher” in Mongolian. As Ordos’ administrative center, it’s a National 4A Urban Tourism Scenic Area, featuring seven themed squares, four themed parks, three major museums, an ancient site, a city lake, six cultural buildings, and four tourism zones (Ordos Wedding Culture Park, Ethnic Unity Theme Park, Ordos International Racing City, and Qian Ting Mountain Cultural Scenic Area).
